Customer service – communication with members/guests/community
Scheduling, Pay roll
Staff relations – Hiring, communication and training (front desk, belayers, instructors)
Safety – weekly and monthly safety inspections of the facility
Inventory – weekly and monthly tracking and ordering of retail and rental stock
Special Events – scheduling and organizing (and delegating)

Position: Youth Summer Camp Program Coordinator
Contract Length: 11 Weeks (June 17th-Aug 30th) Possible extension to part-time work during the school year
Hours: 40/hr a week Monday to Friday. Weeknights and weekends as needed.
Pay: $19/hour
What You’ll do:
• Responsible for the creation and delivery of Summer day camp programming specifically targeted toward youth ages 5 – 13.
• Provides support, training, and mentoring to all day camp staff and volunteers
• Responsible for scheduling, performance management, and program timeline preparation for Camp Counsellors
• Assist with the development of the budget and operational plan for ARC Day Camps
• Ensure all program policies and procedures are implemented and carried out in day to day operations
• Communicate directly with clients, both the children attending the Summer Camps and their parents on a daily basis.
• Work as a liaison between ARC Summer Camp Staff and ARC Climbing and Yoga Staff

What you’ll do:
This position involves a wide variety of duties and responsibilities that aim to support and ensure the wellbeing of our members, staff, and the overall success of the Yoga Studio.
Some of the responsibilities will include:
– Customer Service – communication with members, guests and community
– Yoga Teacher Staffing – Hiring, communication and orientation
– Scheduling and Payroll
– Workshops and Special Events – scheduling and organizing
– Marketing – communicate with the Marketing Coordinator to promote Yoga Programs
– Yoga Studio – Ensuring the studio is safe, clean and a comfortable environment for teachers and members
– Inventory – tracking and ordering of yoga retail, rental stock and studio equipment
Who you are:
• A passionate Yogi with experience practicing various styles of yoga. Experience teaching yoga is an asset, but not necessary.
• You can describe the various styles of yoga that ARC offers.
• You have experience in a supervisory or management role.
• You have a diplomatic and outgoing personality, capable of fostering relationships with facility users and yoga teachers.
• Post-secondary education an asset (but not required.)
• Proficient in speaking, writing and reading English. French as asset.
• Comfortable with computers (word and excel). Experience with Rock Gym Pro an asset. Website and social media experience or management also an asset.
• Organized, accountable, reliable.
